Father’s Day: Best Father’s Day Quotes
Written by Winston Craven on Sunday, June 20th, 2010It’s again the time of the year where we give thanks and honor to the man who raised us, our fathers. Just a week ago, we received a lot of queries asking when the real date of this year’s Father’s Day is. You see, unlike Christmas, Valentine’s and New Year, Father’s day’s date usually changes every year. More often, it is celebrated on the third Sunday of June that’s why there had been a confusion with the date last week.
On Father’s day, we usually give material gifts to our dads. If not, we let them experience a full day spa or maybe a grill on a Sunday morning. But also, a lot of our friends prefer to give their Dads a special greeting on Father’s Day. They give quotes, greeting cards, poems, or send them email or sms messages about Father’s Day.

Here are a few quotes that are usually used during Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day to all our Dad readers.
He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it. ~Clarence Budington Kelland
Henry James once defined life as that predicament which precedes death, and certainly nobody owes youa debt of honor or gratitude for getting him into that predicament. But a child does owe his father a debt, if Dad, having gotten him into this peck of trouble, takes off his coat and buckles down to the job of showing his son how best to crash through it. ~Clarence Budington Kelland
There’s something like a line of gold thread running through a man’s words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself. ~John Gregory Brown, Decorations in a Ruined Cemetery, 1994
And here is a memorable Father’s Day jokes from Reader’s Digest. The joke was submitted to Reader’s Digest by Robin Yedlock.
