First Day of Summer: Summer Solstice 2010 After Fathers Day – Prepare yourself now, because the first day of summer officially kicks off today at exactly 7:28 am ET this is the beginning of the longest day of the year in Northern Hemisphere. Many people around the world waited this day so much. A lot of them planned ahead of time for some activities at the start of summer 2010.

The official first day of Summer 2010 has yet to come and this is June 21, 2010. This was also referred to us as Summer Solstice 2010. This is the day after the Father’s Day 2010 which was scheduled yesterday June 20, 2010.

Apparently, thousands of people witnessed the sunrise on the longest day of the year at the site of the circle of stones in Stonehenge, British. On the other hand, nearly 20,000 visitors to Stonehenge saw the sun rise at 4.52 a.m. on summer solstice day.
