How the IPCC report is perceived in Canada and Australia

Today the Correspondents’ Club returned to the “ultimatum” issued by the United Nations Intergovernmental Group of Experts. On Monday 20 March, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change published the summary of its sixth report. It calls on all countries and economic sectors to act faster and stronger in the face of global warming.
Head to Canada and Australia, two countries among the largest polluters, to find out how to receive this report. The Australian government didn’t even want to know about it. However, this new government has reiterated that unlike its conservative predecessors, it will engage in the fight against global warming. The Canadian government announced that it wanted “Implement a series of measures” to relieve Fossil fuel addiction. But these words are not followed by actions, according to the associations.
