Social networking is declining in France and many other countries

Social network users tonight reported difficulties accessing the app in several countries, including France.

Instagram was inaccessible in France for more than an hour last night, BFMTV noted, while thousands of French-speaking users took to social networks to testify to difficulties accessing the social network.

Downdetector website, listing various outages of websites, posted about 21,000 reports for the application in France, around 00:20 Monday, fifteen minutes before 549. In the United States, at 00:20 (Paris time) more than 104,000 reports were made. A peak of 186,000 reports across the Atlantic was reached around 12:50 p.m.

The incident gradually ended around 1:30 p.m., BFMTV noted.

Many countries are affected

A number of countries (Colombia, Italy, Brazil, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, Japan, etc.) saw a peak of overnight reports from Sunday to Monday.

As often happens in such situations, Instagram users shared the hashtag #InstagramDwon on Twitter.
