The Catalan club condemned what happened and warned that it would take measures so that such events would not happen again.
A group of Barcelona football fans waited for coach Ronald Koeman’s car to leave the Camp Nou to surround him and insult him after their team’s 2-1 defeat against Real Madrid.
The culé took part in the classics this Sunday after winning their last two games, against Valencia and Dynamo Kiev. It was his first full-team match against his former rival since the start of the pandemic.
But after the loss, things weren’t so good off the field when Koeman got out in his Audi. While some fans shouted insults at the technician, others slammed into the hood of the car and blocked his path.
In this regard, the Catalan club denounced what happened and warned that it would take measures so that such events would not be repeated again.
FC Barcelona publicly condemns the violent acts and contempt to which our coach was subjected upon leaving the Camp Nou. The club will take security and disciplinary measures so that such unfortunate events do not happen again.
